MRSA Survivors Network, the official organization for World MRSA Day.
In an effort to raise awareness about methicillin-resistant
Staphylococcus aureus, the Chicago-based group is holding a kick-off event Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at Loyola University's downtown campus (Lewis Towers, Beane Hall, 13th floor).
World MRSA Day will be observed Oct. 2 with MRSA-related activists and health care organizations holding events throughout the month of October as part of
World MRSA Awareness Month.
